Spotted a Problem?

It's not always easy to know who to contact about a problem related with the river, whether it's to let someone know about a tree floating along or you want to report someone behaving in a dangerous way near the water.

The main responsibility for ensuring a clean, safe and navigable river is shared between:

• British Waterways
• Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council
• The Environment Agency
• Cleveland Police

These agencies work in partnership to protect and enhance the River Tees.   If you have spotted a problem please contact British Waterways on 01642 633273.
