Take To The Tees Festival 2010

Take to the Tees is 'the' watersport festival for 2010 that will give you chance to try the wide range of water sports available on the river. From Sunday 22nd August to Monday 30th August you will be able to try your hand at everything from water-skiing, sailing, rowing, paddle boarding and much more. 

Centred around the Tees Barrage and Stockton Riverside during August 2010 some of the events and attractions on offer include. 

Triathlon Sun 22 August

Taking place on Sunday on the 22nd, including mini, sprit and standard distances.

Rat Run & Relax Sun 29 August

This years Festival offers you the chance to do the Rat Run! An urban adventure offering participants the chance to splash, jump, kayak climb and dash 10k across a truly unique running course, walk the plank at the Tees Barrage and climb newport Bridge!

Stockton Summer Show Sat 28 - Mon 30 August

Due to improvement work at preston Park this local show for all the family is this year part of the Take ToThe Tees festival.  Great entertainment for one and all!

Arc in the Park Fri 27 - Sat 28 August

ARC in the Park is back with two nights of fantastic entertainment at the Tees Barrage.  Friday night is Catch 22 Comedy Club with the very, very funny Juinior Simpson, while Saturday evening sees leading tribute act Beatlemania.

Tees Wheelyboats Club

Are you a wheel chair user? Would you like to Take To The Tees?
